The 2 days festival at pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, Delhi. Captivated Anime lovers with various interactive experience, live performance that vibrant fusion of Indian enthusiasm and Japanese culture. This event held on 28th and 29th September 2024, witnessed 40 Japanese brands across all categories such as travel and tourism, education, automobiles, apparels, art and music, and authentic cuisine which brought an extra layer of joy and excitement of Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!.
Komatsu India Private Limited (KIPL) showcased the mini excavator PC35MR model imported from KLTD, Japan at Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!. KIPL’s is very young in branding activities in comparison to other regions and the idea came to bring awareness and visibility of our brand among the audience, especially with the young minds and talents. Displayed and demonstrated of our new mini excavator model PC35MR, this launch in India was one of the highlights in Komatsu stall, engaged all category of visitors, and brought closer to the brand and made them to know more about the brand and products.
Komatsu India always focus to bring Women empowerment in the workplace and this MMAJ event was encouraged and executed by our women Employees - Ms. Aishwarya Gangadhar, Ms. Divya, Ms. Morimoto and Ms. Purnopama along with Mr. Brajendra Mishra, HE Marketing team conducted various online, offline games (Kenkenkikki - catch with the dump truck, theme based colouring competitions, building blocks, spin-the-wheel game, etc.,) and distributed attractive prizes to the winners. Infants and the toddlers were totally gripped with the Komatsu’s PC01 battery operated big toy and enjoyed their rides by operating the same.
Event focused much towards to the branding aspects through selling merchandizes – Komatsu miniatures, toy models, etc., which made the visitors of all age group to fall in love with those tiny, cute models and tempted to have one with them. The recent partnership branding with Williams Racing race car cut-out display and the global launch of Anime based “Cambodia De-mining” poster cum teaser was also one of the attractions in Komatsu stall. The brand promise “Creating value together” registered its value by making good footfalls of 350+ total visitors to our stall on both days.
This vibrant event highlighted the growing popularity of anime in India and offered a rich tapestry of activities that delighted the fans and curious newcomers to this MMAJ event, which accounted 74% increase in the footfall over the weekend. Co-chairman of MMAJ 2024 said, this event contributed heavily to a cultural exchange and deepening Mutual understanding between Japan and India. MMAJ became a platform and set a base to promote such initiatives in the future.
