India is the world's third-largest producer of Coal, behind China and the U.S. India’s only focused fair for the Mining Industry is IMME.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s apex industry body and Premiere Exhibition organizer hosted the 16th Edition of IMME in association with Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Mines and supported by Coal India Limited. International Mining Exhibition & Global Mining Summit Conference on Mining Equipment was held between 16th Nov till 19th Nov, 2022 (4 days) at Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata.
This event to showcase the latest and diverse range of Mining machinery, Equipment’s, advanced technology solutions, services and Supplies from India and abroad. Since its inception in 1984, IMME has been the largest mining exhibition which brings together the key players of the segment, contributing to the growth of the Mining sector in India.
Global Mining Summit (GMS) is the signature initiative being organized concurrently with the International Mining Machinery Exhibition.
Shri Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, Coal India Limited inaugurated the Global Mining Summit and IMME 2022 on 16th Nov, 2022 and he addressed that Coal India is focusing on Mechanisation and Digitisation to increase its coal production and attain Sustainability. Also emphasized on the role of mineral sector that helping India’s growth with a rapid speed.
Komatsu India Private Limited participated in this 16th edition of IMME 2022 with an outdoor stall of 264 sq.m and showcased PC500LC-10R new model that recently launched by KIPL. This new model is with Bio-Diesel Compatible option, focused very much to the mid-range variant for mining application. Our machine display was an attraction in IMME ground, inspired brought many customers and business visitors closer. KIPL jointly with L&T team explained its technical features, ease of operation, fuel consumption techniques, return benefits to the machine owners, etc.
Total footfalls on all the days were about 750+ customers from mining sectors were visited our stall and the maximum footfall was on Day 2.
The major key customers were from the mining Segement inlucding PSUs like CIL and all its subsidiaries – SCCL, NMDC, SAIL, NALCO, etc.
Institutional customers in private sector such as Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Shree Cement, Birla Corporation, HINDALCO, Kalburgi Cemetn, Emami Cement, etc., Also key MDOs/Contractors like Essel Mining, DECO, Kalinga Commercial, Thriveni, Monte Carlo, Ambey Mining, Durga Infra, GRN Construction etc., visited Komatsu Stall and discussed.
IMME 2022 event was very successful this time with many business visitors and customers.
